A great television show is one where the animated filler is extended to nearly half the screen time, is repeated exactly as is for every episode, where every episode is basically the same plot, where the message given to children is exactly the same, yet contains a bright colored palette that appeals to young, unformed brains.

Gotcha.Alexis Smolenskhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10539170107563075967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6560143148581212281.post-62795152327070935492016-08-01T10:00:58.883-05:002016-08-01T10:00:58.883-05:00Dangermouse was a show I loved on Nickelodeon in m...Dangermouse was a show I loved on Nickelodeon in my teens. I shared it with my 13 year-old as he grew up and recently introduced it to my 3 year-old. Great silly (and especially witty) fun! I look forward to this series of blogs because my daughter is 1 and my wife looooooooves She-Ra. She still has her action figures. It makes me sad that I don't have any He-Man ones, but I collected the LJN D&D figures instead (long since sold by my parents).Zudrak (Michael G.)https://www.blogger.com/profile/13516066174600510254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6560143148581212281.post-15089570265856488032016-07-30T13:34:35.554-05:002016-07-30T13:34:35.554-05:00That is an...eclectic list. He-man/Shera were on when I was in my mid-teens (I think) so I wasn't their audience and didn't watch them. However I have a friend who is very much a little sister to me and she is a huge fan even in her thirties.
Disney's Gargoyles was an assume series but you need to wait 5 years before you introduce it as it is heavily influenced by Shakespeare and has some dark and or heavy story lines but overall is pretty good with out going into over-preachy mode. Captain Planet I am looking at you.Warrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11354178086764394097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6560143148581212281.post-80034989202358727422016-07-30T11:25:28.556-05:002016-07-30T11:25:28.556-05:00Inspector Gadget is girl-friendly.
